Llorona Beach Day Tour
For more adventurous hikers, this activity will make you have fun from the beginning to the end. Walk across the Pargo river and then venture yourself on the Llorona trail. An exquisite forest that combines the typical mix of primary and secondary forests. Very tall trees, mammal species such as peccaries, and if you’re lucky maybe an elusive tapir can be seen going across your path, monkeys, sloth, coatis, birds, just to mention some samples of the inhabitants awaiting for you. Feel the breeze sliding on the immensity of the ocean and penetrating the dense forest, and enjoy the panoramic view of Playa Llorona.

Though you cannot swim there, the Llorona waterfall is striking and its beauty blends in with the rock known as the “Arch”...and the sea on the background adds extra magnificence to the beach. All this together will make you feel like you were the first one in discovering this wonderful paradise like spot.

**Note: It is an activity that demands physical strength, and since there is no road or boat access to Llorona beach, you have to hike back to San Pedrillo Ranger Station. The one-way hike takes about 3 hours to Llorona. *Check the tide chart.

Shoes or hiking boots for walking. TEVAS or Crocs are essential for the Catarata trail which terrain is broken. Use of sandals, flip-flops are not recommended, but very useful for river-crossing. Sandals are perfect for beach-landing.

*In CORCOVADO NATURAL we DO NOT book flights, so we suggest in checking the flight departure schedules and public transports to Palmar Sur or Bahia Drake. Daily direct public services are also available.
