Fun...Adventure...Nature with the family!!!
Nature and biodiversity with the family!!
Just a few minutes by boat, or three hours walk from town on a public trail well marked and traced, parallel to the beach, you can get to San Josecito beach. Its white sanded beach, palm trees, vegetation and wildlife, will make the perfect day for you and your family. Its crystal clear water allows you to enjoy snorkeling and offers hours of fun to the kids, while they play in it. Beach almond trees provide fruits which are eaten by the great scarlet macaw, but also some monkeys such as the white faced monkeys or the mantled howler monkeys are also seen around the place.
Walking along the beach is a delight, because you can get to the little village of Rincon, a local surfing area, share with locals, and enjoy the beauty of the landscape. On another direction, your footsteps will lead you to Rio Claro -meaning “clear river”- wherein you will be honored to meet Richard, nicknamed “Clavito” -little nail-, who leads a private turtle project and owns hand crafted kayaks and canoes for rent. Paddle upstream the river, swim or just climb up to the top of the four waterfalls of the place.

An adventure with no comparison.
