Sirena-San Josecito (4 days/3 nights)
Description of the Activity
The Sirena ranger station is a mix of primary and secondary rainforest that makes it ideal for those who want to enjoy the varieties of ecosystems with only few steps away from the very beginning. The flora and fauna is diverse on each and every corner of the forest, and the beauty scenery transforms the place into a living paradise to adventurers. Its trails make Sirena a real natural destination to spot wildlife, most of the times hidden in other places in Costa Rica. Some of the wildlife with possibilities to be seen is the four monkey species of the country (howler, white-faced, squirrel, and spider monkeys), peccaries, anteaters, sloths, coati-mundies, tapirs, and more. Then the fun awaits in San Josecito beach.
Sun, beach, sand, ocean and rainforest are the perfect combination to enjoy with your family and friends in this wonderful place. Its white sanded beach, palm trees, vegetation and wildlife, will make the perfect day for you and your family. Its crystal clear waters allow you to enjoy snorkeling while the kids have hours of entertainment playing with the hermit crabs. Beach almond trees offer fruits which are eaten by the great scarlet macaw, but also some monkeys such as the white-faced monkey or the mantled howler monkey are also seen around the place. Paddle up upstream in Rio Claro on a kayak or a canoe, and climb the four waterfalls to finally cliff jumping and splash with fun.
Theres no place like this...and you and your family will love it!
Fun for the whole family in this Summer Season!
